Battery Directive
In connection with the distribution of batteries we are obliged (if necessary
as a trader according to battery law) to point out to our customers the
following:
Consumers are, according to the Battery Directive, obliged by law to return
all spent batteries and/or accumulators.
The Battery Ordinance prohibits batteries and rechargeable batteries from
being disposed of with household waste.
Please, dispose old batteries propperly, as described by the law, dispose
at a municipal collection point, through retailers or you may return after
use to us free of charge.
The batteries which contain pollutants are marked with the symbol of a
crossed garbage bin. Under the garbage bin symbol the chemical name of
the pollutant, e.g., "Cd" is for cadmium, "Pb" for
lead or "Hg" for mercury.
